The design is amalgamation of western neo-classical design and eastern “Vaastu Shastra”. Since there is just narrow strip of land left at south, a specially designed dormer-windows on roof terrace are used for solar heat gain during winter. The dormer-window is designed such that the summer solar rays are blocked. Terracotta floor tiles were used at drawing room, dining room and staircase. Simple capital like design at columns was worked out in mild steel giving wrought iron effect. Cost of ceiling finishing works was reduced by applying POP directly on RCC slab. Irregular pattern was designed to cover beams, which gives impression that all the ceiling area is made of false ceiling.
