Café de horizon by its name itself is located in the top most level of Ai-la Restaurant and lounge providing a spectacular skyline view of Kathmandu Valley. It is a refurbishment project. The coffee shop was a part of Ai-la Restaurant and lounge limited to serving coffee after refurbishment it has become an enhancing feature of the restaurant. The coffee shop re-design focus on creating a private, cozy, quiet and environment apart from the restaurant area in lower terrace. This has been created with combination of shades of brown and beige, with cozy sofa arranged to get most exterior view. The false ceiling has been designed with small rectangular void which provides skylight during the daytime and lit with small lights giving a night sky touch. The main constrain of the project was lift machine room access door from the coffee shop itself. This has been carefully amalgamated to a feature wall designed.
